Dust Collection Cyclone
Description
Dust Collection Cyclone refers to a device used for gas-solid system separation. It is for connected with dust collector to protect dust collector filters and allows for recycling of powder.
It's designed by simple structure, high operational flexibility, high efficiency, convenient management and maintenance.
It is used to capture dust with a diameter of 5 to 10 μm and are widely used in the pharmaceutical industry.
It is particularly suitable for coarse dust particles. When the dust concentration is high, high temperature, and high pressure conditions are present, cyclone is often used as internal separation devices in fluidized bed reactors, or as pre-separators.
This machine is with a volume of 25L bucket and SUS304 stainless steel for food and pharmaceuticals. Cyclone sits on caster wheels and is designed with a sight window to allow operators to see powder build up which can help let the operator know if adjustments may be needed on Capsule Filling Machine.
Application of cyclone in tablet press and capsule filling
1. Connect a cyclone between the tablet press and the dust collector, so the dust can be collected in the cyclone, and only a very small amount of dust enters the dust collector which greatly reduces the cleaning cycle of the dust collector filter.
2. The middle and lower turret of tablet press absorb powder separately, and the powder been absorbed from the middle turret enter to the cyclone for reuse.
3. To make bi--layer tablet , can equip with two cyclones to recover two materials separately, increasing material recovery and reducing waste.
